Things to Bring

1.  Sleeping Bag - A single-bed and mattress with pillows are provided.

2.  Comfortable clothes for in the Lodge.

3.  A pair of shoes to wear in the lodge, anything quick, easy and comfortable.  Basic personal hygiene, toothbrush, shaving kit, etc.

4.  Mud Room - We have a mud room out in the shop.  Here, we change into and out of our hunting boots.  The object here is to leave the mud in the mud room and not in the lodge.  This is why you brought an extra pair of shoes.

5.  Gun or guns, in case one of them breaks.

6.  Shells - lots of them.

7.  Hunting Gear
       A.  MUST HAVE an orange hunting cap and vest with 1/3 orange.

        B.  A comfortable  pair of hunting boots for in the field.

        C.  Gun or Guns with cases.

Hunting Rules

1.  You must have a valid South Dakota hunting license.

2.  Think Safety First.

When the birds get up, know who is around you and where they are.  If a shot is risking the safety of someone, don't take it.  The birds will land and we will kick them up again.

3.  If rule#2 does not apply when the birds get up shoot, shoot, and shoot, until the gun is empty, then re-load and shoot some more.  It doesn't matter who shoots the birds, they will be divided equally between the individuals.

4.  No alcohol until we are done hunting and the guns are empty and put away for the day.
